At the beginning of the pandemic we started reaching out, opening our doors and striving to be available to work with as many artist and makers as we could. Most of us here at #veryjazzed are full-time musicians (or to some compacity work within the service industry) and so after everything turned off, and the work disappeared we decided we needed to take action to unite our community together in an effort to help everyone bounce back big in 2021.
A compilation turned out to be the perfect vessel, and thus, the idea for DEMO COMP. Vol. 1 was born!

Julian Montague
I recently purchased, “2020, The Longest Year”, from my favorite multi-media artist, Julian Montague. I was looking to find something to invest myself into musically, among other things… work, health, traction, and this particular piece spoke to me. I am sure you are like me when I say, 2020 was hard. Many of the things that meant so much to me have dissipated into a sort of neverland.
Much to our delight, Julian Montague joined our efforts here and agreed to design this records gorgeous cover art. (Tysm, Julian!)
